276,845 as of this morning on my '96 Splash. Good truck, never quit on me, never replaced anything more expensive than the coilpack.

My 99 3.0 had 271,000 on it when my son wrecked it. The only problem with the engine was at 110,000 I had to replace a valve spring. But it ran beautifully until my son ran over a fire hydrant and tore out my condenser, radiator, rack and pinion, drive shaft, and fuel tank in less than a second.

I never replaced my fuel pump with 271,000 on it. Maybe you're putting crappy gas.

just about @ 170k on a 99xlt and aside from a couple of "scares" has been the absolute most solid running vehicle Ive ever owned.
its outlasted my moms 2000 protege @ 90k and a warped head (bought new)
as well as my sister and brother in laws 03 2500 HD with under 100k that has been in the shop several times in the past year alone (bought almost new)
hell, its even outlasted my nephews 03 GTI with less than 100k on it with a blown tranny !

I LOVE MY TRUCK !

'99 3.0 v6 with 208k mi. had to have the head gaskets replaced this past spring (D.P.O.(dumb previous owner) overheated the truck thats why i got it cheap). check engine light is intermittantly on sometimes (code reader says cyl 5 misfire) but it still runs fine.. drive it from PA to MD regularly and it doesnt use any oil. everything else works on the truck and its super clean so when this engine finally goes i think i'll drop another one in there.
