Yes, finally got CAI

Finally got my cold air intake shipped and installed... didnt even take that long, and I have to say that compared to the stock intake big noise difference... you can hear the air as it rushes in, man its sounds awesome. But since its just gotten in havent had enough time to see mpg improvement or anything, can feel a slight power gain, key word "slight"... but anyways THANKS UNDERDOG-PERFORMANCE!!!!!

Definatly cool sounding, as for any power gains, it's all in your head.....like a placebo. I have a CAI too, don't get me wrong it's great sounding, but without any other performance modifications added, it really doesn't do much.

That's why I didn't go the sucker route and purchase the $450 K&N FIPK intake. A $400 waste if you ask me.

I went w/a MAC intake, I didn't notice any power gains and maybe a tiny mpg gain and I drive it he same as when I didn't have it. I got mine from Wayne too.

The stock intake is a CAI, it pulls air from behind the headlight. If you get a CAI you have more of a chance of pulling hot air from the engine into the intake because you no longer have a closed box.
