My 15 year old boy saved his $ for years. He wanted a Ranger and finally found one he wanted. He found this 99 3.0 4x4 black side step for 2k. 136k miles from AZ. No rust. Has a cracked head. Truck came with another engine, trans and front exhaust. Discovered they are from a newer model year. Seller didn't know. Pulled both engines down to the short block. The original Y pipe flange was gone on one side. Once we got the pipe out and set it next to the replacement they didn't ok the same. The replacement has cats in the Y pipe and the bends don't match up.
I've been looking for a used Y pipe with no luck. No one has it new or used. Running out of options. Can anyone help?

 

The only thing I can find shows the 1998 - 2000, 3.0 and 4.0 use the same part, and it does have cats.
