So I've currently done a bunch of work on my truck. I ordered a set of oem fog lights not realizing the wiring wasnt included. I have a switch to turn them on but was wondering if there was an easy way to just wire them to the high beams or something? (Truck was never equipped with them)

 

I have the same problem, Ranger XL, bought all the stuff from the dealer, switch, fog light wiring harness, bezels, everything, nowhere to hook the wiring harness to. I thought these trucks were wired all the same, guess I was wrong. So I guess I'm going to wire them like aftermarket lights.

 

I got a 1995 Ford Ranger xlt 4.0, and the harness is already there and the switch inside the truck. I just dont know were to connect the fog lights,. I have the valance panel, but there is no place on the panel to connect the lights.

 

Mine didnt come with the option for fog lights so I'm just gonna wire them to the battery and a switch. Scree it make it easy...

 

Does anybody have a 1995 ford ranger with fog lights? I have the bumper mount fog light they say is oem for my truck. But i need to know how to attatch the fog lights.The wiring is all there, I have a valance with the fog light holes. but it only has the holes to attach to the bumper. Does anybody know if I need a bracket, and were to buy it. If anybody has any pictures of were to mount the stud on the fog light would be awesome!! Thank you for all input!
