Has anyone else had the heater box replaced due to the known failure problem?

Did it fix the issue permanently?

We had the heater box fail under warranty, producing 113F air output when set for straight outside air (no heat, no cooling). The new one did work for a while.

Now, however, the replacement heater box has apparently failed, this time so that when A/C is selected, the temperature is set to max heat, and there is no A/C. This is a 2019 XL

I'm about ready to junk the thing, since it gets hot here, we use it for travel, and travel with NO A/C in hot areas is "not popular" with family members. I'm not fond of the idea of spending $5000 (estimated, given inflation) to have it replaced again, probably with the same old bad design that will fail again in a short time just like the first replacement.

I am assuming that the replacements are not of an improved version. Anyone know if that is the case?

Any clever ideas for other fixes? The symptom is a bit different this time, so either it is just a different 'door" that is getting jammed, or possibly a different problem.
