I'm looking at buying the Ionic 3" Stainless Nerf Bars at,

But not sure how they install. Anybody have these or know if it's a bolt on or is there drilling and tapping involved etc?
Just any info you can give me on the install etc.

 

I'm not sure about the 3" but it looks as if it says the same no drill installation on the website that the 5" had. I just installed the 5 inch ionic nerf bars and they utilized pre drilled and threaded holes that were already on the truck from the factory that were not being utilized. They went on in about 30 minutes. I would think the installation would be similar.

 

I would go with the 5 inch bars because that's what Ford offers as an option. The 3 inch bars might be a little weak. Just my opinion :)
