1st gear stutter when coasting?

Hey guys, another issue I am having is when I am, for instance, pulling into a parking lot and am in 1st gear, sometimes second gear, clutch pushed in, so disengaged, there will be a lot of bucking and jerking, it'll stop when I take the transmission out of gear and let off the clutch. What could be causing this? Is it the clutch going bad? I don't know if it is the self adjusting clutch or not. Any ideas would be appreciated. Maybe I can upload a video of it? Thanks!

Sounds like the clutch isn't totally disengaging.
Check the fluid level first.

Truck is slowing down and it's still in gear even though you have the clutch in.
That's probably what's causing the bucking and jerking.

When the truck is fully warmed up, is it easy to put it in reverse ?

And on one of your other threads, all the Ford Ranger manual trans (as far as I know) are synchromesh.
According to Ron, even the reverse is.

Make sure there are no clutch problems before assuming you need a rebuild.
Very unlikely your manual needs a rebuild.
