If the long block is all stock I don't think it would help much at all. And at that your tune would need to be adjusted. And... the larger a MAF the more problems you'll have getting the idle dialed in.

On my 06 I've founf that the air filter setup is definately worth a solid 10-12 HP & TQ.

It's something small.. but you can shave down the TB rod and bolts. Maybe even knife edge the blade. The TB is the smallest crossestional (or choking) point in the whole intake. Opening it up will only help high rpm power.

As far as the throttle body I already have the BBK 66mm..sometimes I wonder if it has caused problems lol..but thats taken care of
I just wonder if the MAF would help..the only reason I would replace it is if mine was bad. If it is bad how do you know?

Well.. you'd have one or all of the following problems.

Check engine light
Strange idle problems (high/low/not idling at all)
Tranny shifting hard
Poor mileage

I'm sure there are others.. but a Check engine light and a DTC set in the computer would be your number one thing to look for.

this will be my setup when my engine goes:
- Morana 4.5L stroker kit
- Comp Cam 422 cam
- port and polish heads
- ARP bolts throughout
- UDP
- efan
- K&N intake
- JBA stainless headers
- JBA exhaust
- Screamin' Demon coil pack

i figure that will run me roughly $3500 to do since i will do most of the work myself, except for the port and polish....and i already have the UDP, efan, and Screamin' Demon......

yeah, the link you have only showes a 4.3L stroker kit.. wheres the 4.5L?
