has anyone used the innovative performance chips power programmer? from what ive been reading they claim to add up to 35 horsepower 5 mpg.

I am sure people buy them because they still sell them.

Do they actually add power or get better MPG.............no

This one actually doesn't do anything, but even if it did it wouldn't do much good, you can send out computer and have better software added, but this is for running 93 octane gasoline only, so more aggressive spark curve, that would by-pass knock sensor when in use.

No car maker de-tunes an engine to get less power, nor do they want worse MPG, but they do have to program computer to run on 87 octane fuel which will ping/knock if spark gets to agressive
