90 Ranger, rough idle and seems rich.
Hey guys,
I'm new here. I have a 90 Ranger with 265,000 miles on it (original engine). Anyway, I just starting getting a pretty rough idle and it sounds and seems like it's running rich. I ran a code scan and nothing came back so I have to believe all my sensors are fine. I changed the plugs (they all looked terrible), which did help but it's still seems rich and a little more rough at idle than I'm happy with.
When it's warm it runs much better. Now I realize that I do have 265,000 miles on the old girl and it may just be related to that, but I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for what could be causing this? I was thinking injectors maybe, but they are really expensive so I don't just want to replace them on a whim.
Anyway, any tips or suggestions would be much appreciated.
Thanks.
