Aftermarket Throttle body

I know Explorer Express has an larger aftermarket throttle body for the 4.0 OHV but does anyone make one for the 4.0 SOHC?

BBK IS THE ONLY BRAND FOR THE 4.0L SOHC. I was looking at it for my truck. But then I decided not to because then you should get bigger Fuel Injectors and bigger fuel lines and an aftermarket mass air flow senser, which adds up to too much money. You get better performance, but it costs more in gas. Thats just my thought.

Im suprised at this since the mustang has the 4.0..It would be a fairly simple mod to do.

it is my understanding that the SOHC has a pretty good sized TB to begin with. no need to upgrade.

unless you are forced induction or something.

they did in 2005 with the new body style Mustang, BUT.......it has a different throttle cable setup....infact it isn't a cable at all, it is done by wire.......

So no one makes an aftermarket TB for the 4.0L SOHC?.......................

I'm kidding guys....thanks for the info. It looked like the stock TB was pretty big like Zach mentioned. Just checking.

yup.....a stock 4.0 SOHC TB is a good size bigger than the 4.0 OHV TB......and the only way you should need a larger TB is if you upgrade your fuel/air system (ie: supercharger, larger injectors, larger pump, and so forth)
