air fuel guage
air fuel guage
so i want to hook up an air fuel guage in a pod... i remeber that there are high and low bands or some crap like that.... at any rate im looking at an auto meter gauge for this.... soes anyone have expertise in this or even do this(i know some has) and if anyone knows if the 4.0 is high or low band
theres a wide band n narrow band. some wide bands do data loggin capability for those who are boosted or w/e. then theres widebands that dont have data loggin capability but do give u a better reading then a narrowband. a narrowband will just bounce back n forth n look cool
Yeah, a wide band will run you at least $250 and is a great tool for tuning anything running boost, nitrous, or performance tune. They come with their own O2 sensor and many times a data logger. A narrow band uses the stock O2 sensor and really can only tell you 3 things. If your running lean, stock, or rich. It may be able to give you a idea if something is not right in the motor like a bad mass air but it's really only to look cool. Because they dont read as much info, they only cost around $100.
ok so it doesnt matter what one i get... well i dont think im gonna be doing an extensive amount of air/fuel tuning so the narrow band is fine...right??? and these just plug in or what....??? im basically coppin out and puttin a cool gauge in...
