how often are you above 4,000 rpm's? if you are then you will want a performance tune.........that is the rpm range it is designed for......

i love my torque tune and i dont do any towing......gives me good midrang power that the Ranger was lacking from the factory...

I know that I will be ordering the following:

87 torq, 92 torq, 92 perf

The highest I can get at the pumps is 92 octane.

You have your 87 tune when for when those days your financially hurting (87 gas is cheaper). Yet your other tunes are all highest octane power related.

ofcourse.. higher octane the better but more $$$ youll get more power/performance outta 92 but if 87's in your budget youll get increased numbers just not as much!

If it were me, I think I would get 89torque, 93 torque, and 93 performance. I usually don't run anything less than 89 in mine.

87 is the "budget mode", which allows one to run with the cheapest gas possible, i got the 87performance, 93torque, and 93 performance, I've never ran it on the 93 torque setting... I think I'm going to try it today
