Bama Tuners....

why is the SCT Bama XCalibrator 2 better than the XClaibrator?

i know the XCalibrator 2 you can pull PCM codes and make manual adjustments, but with my truck would the orgional XCalibrator be better since i can't use the XCalibrator 2 to change my tire size and gear ratio?

if you have the optional date cable for the Xcali 1, you can connect it to the computer and recieve tunes via email and upload them

but its an extra 50 bucks, and not in production anymore, so you have to find a used one

We have both Xcal2s and some used Xcal 1s and cables. To be honest with you, the Xcal 1 is a pain sometimes, hard to diagnose issues if it doesnt work right the first time. Its also a little cheaper, but when you shell out the cash for the cable, its not too far off from a brand new Xcal 2

I would get the Xcal2. The datalogging ability is pretty cool. And Doug does some nice tuning if you go with Bama.
