which would you guys get

a k&n or a volant with the air box?
which is gonna give me the most gains?

 

i have k&N and like it. both should have similar gains.

 

i like the volant
she has a better heat shield than the K&N

 

I have the K&N. It gave a good 11hp increase.. but it's not a true cai.

I like the Volant as well. They do more of thier homewrok than does K&N. They really focus on maing a true CAI. Neither are cheap..

volant baby all the way. before i installed it on my 4.0 sohc i was getting about 17 mpg but now im getting almost 21. Also i saw a noticeable power increase even though lots of people say opposite. It makes sense though cause the air box on the volant is like twice the size of the factory airbox and the "breathing holes" are massive compared to the straws it was sucking through before.

 

I have the K&N and so far so good, I have no complaints and I have noticed a difference in preformance for sure!

 

I have the Volant and like it a lot!
