Cutting Flowmaster Off?

well mine sounds likes its sputtering and i would like a little more sound.....iam thinking of cutting the muffler off and dumping it under the truck.....how would this sound??

thats what i was thinking.......wanted suggestions b4 i did anything...............what about dumping my exhaust after the flowmaster? woulkd it sound any different

i cut them after the muffler they sound pretty good....iam going to get that high temp paint and paint the pipes and muffler and the tips and hang the muffler so it dosent shake......... and yes iam redoing the exhaust system after the first of the year with ceramic headers back to high flow cats and stainless pipes and aint decided on a muffler yet......

He is my truck with straight pipes. It sounds pretty good so dont listen to Stone.

I'd be worried about losing torque if you got rid of the muffler.. I had the si/do dumped setup on my truck when I had my 40 series, it sounded good imo, my current borla has a better higher RPM sound though and I noticed that I gained some torque back.

My brothers 3.0 was straight piped, and sounded really good.

Jake just sounds like a vehical that lost its muffler...eh not so good IMO..

just went to the auto parts store and its got a good deep tone to it not like it was b4.....i lik it now......

If you want it loud with a fairly deep tone, get glasspacks, they are loud, I love 'em!

i got what i wanted.....i didnt want that sputter noise anymore and now i dont...iam happy
