leave the cats alone. single 2.5" in to a magnaflow with dual 2.25" pipes out the back to the tips of your liking. thats what i have and i LOVE IT. it sounds so sick! nice and deep with no drone at all on the highway

Alright so I'm gonna give the same answer that I give to all these threads.

Step 1. Go to youtube and search ranger exhaust

Step 2. Choose the one you like

Step 3. Enjoy

I have a Flowmaster 40 series. I love it, it doesn't drone real bad, when you put your foot in it, it sounds awesome. But everyone has different opinions, so it's hard to get a good answer

i hate when people say go to youtube. your not going to get good enough quality sound to really know what it will sound like.

Well if he was able to listen to trucks like his in real life with exhaust he wanted then why would he post the question here?

I never asked anyone or searched youtube because I heard another 4.0L ranger with flowmaster 40 and I liked it.

Yeah man I got a 3" tube from the last cat back to the muffler which is a delta flow 40 series. Then is dual out (2.25") pipes that exit behind the two back tires. There is basically no difference between the sound of the delta or just a straight 40 series; they are just chambered differently. Remember these trucks are V6's. You can't make it sound like a V8, but you can make it sound good for sure!

x2 the only way to get a v8 sound is to buy a v8
