They sound better as they break in. Slightly louder than stock at about 3k miles, nice rumble on cold morning starts. I had one and then got a Gibson Dual system, and I'm keeping it, its just the right balance between being too loud and not loud enough. I personally thought the dynomax was too quiet but thats me.

I got the gibson extreme dual exhaust. I got it from autopartswarehouse.com I think you can get it at summit to. It comes as a kit with everything you need to put it on, even tips. I've had mine for about a year and it sounds awesome just like austin said not to loud but not to quite right in the middle.

I got the Dynomax single exhaust #17315 cause the stock cat back was just way too quiet for me. I also wanted to eliminate the wimpy intermediate pipe before the stock muffler. It is now has a nice little rumble starting around 2000 RPM but idles quiet. Not much louder when really standing on it. It also seemed to help the power a little but of course that can be deceiving. It's perfect for me, especially for the price (and comes with stainless "slash" tip) but probably too quiet for most people wanting to hear their exhaust (I've got a 67 stang for that). I've had mine on for about 1000 miles and either it's sounding better now or maybe it's all in my head.

The kit I bought was 2-1/2" all the way with smooth mandrel bends. It's aluminized not stainless but neither is the factory cat-back and at least the Dynomax kit has a nice S/S tip with logo laser etched into it which finishes it off nicely. . . oh, and did I mention it was only about $175 delivered to my door from Summit. (Granted, I was looking at the Gibson and Magnaflow systems which are great systems and all S/S. They probably sound better but not 3 times the price better). You get what you pay for. If I had $500-$600 to burn I'd have gotten the Gibson or Magnaflow but that is out of my family's (kids with braces) budget.

I actually bought this exhaust from Austin, I agree that it was quiet at first, slightly louder than stock, but it sounds really nice to me now that I have added my JBA headers.

Cool! I'm glad you got what you wanted since your original post indicated you were looking for a dual outlet setup and from what I hear the Magnaflow should be a great set up for you.
