Well, first off I have an '03 FX4, 4.0 SOHC and I was lookin under the hood of my buddies '04 lvl II fx4 and I noticed that he had something I didn't. He has an EGR system whereas mine is, well, not there lol. There are aluminum blockoff plates instead. Is this factory and just different by years or was this done by the previous owner?

 

2003 4.0L does not have EGR. The blockoffs are from the factory.

 

ah I c, it was confusing the hell out of me because I bought the truck with only 6,000 miles and I didn't see any reason why someone would do that to a new truck lol
