Exhaust and Exhaust tip question

Hey guys thanks for all the great info on this site.

I am going with a magnaflow exhaust and some long rolled slash exhaust tips. I am going to have a exhaust shop do all the bending of the pipes, but my question is will they make exhaust brackets so the pipes just don't hang around back there or do they not normally do that.

Next I want to have my tips powder coated gloss black, before I get them put on. Do you know if the powder coat will hold up.

Thanks again,
Nick

If a shop is installing a new cat-back from scratch, they'll hang everything with new hangers and they'll generally do exactly what the customer wants as far as exit/tips go.

Still don't really know what you are asking... ??

You answer it. I have seen dual exhaust out the back running around town and you can see the pipe swinging up and down as they go up the road.

that's called hackjobs or broken hangers. lol.

Im glad i asnwered it for ya...plus, you can be there the entire time they're hanging it...just tell 'em you want it all tucked up and virtually un-visible from the outside except the tip. hold the tip where you want it and they'll ball park it. shoot....the'll slide it on the pipe then you get to position it where you want. In my book, any shop should allow the customer to be there overseeing it and voicing his/her concerns. Exhaust ain't cheap, and you want it done right the first time.

Start calling around for the powdercoaters. Only they know their product good enough to say yes or no.
