hey guys/girls im a noob to this forum but not to 4.0s in ranger i got a 92 4wd and also a 94 4.0 4wd both manule now my 92 has 208k on it and is startin to burn a bit of oil the truck itself is pretty mint for its age My 94 i blew a hole in the #1 piston and warped the head (i beat the snot out of it) Ive searched for a few hrs now and i couldnt find any difinitive links to building a solid 4.0. I know there is a lot of options out there and i cant find the links to any of them any more i had a bunch not long ago but i had to reformat my comp not long ago and lost them does anybody know where i can buy forged internaly for a 4.0? I plan on ripin my 94s engine out along witht the 8.8 and the tranny and rebuild them with a disc brake kit on the 8.8. I plan on building the 94s engine in my 92 and junbking my 94s body and frame if anybody wants any parts off it lemme know ill figure some stuff out on it the front end is still mint if anyone wants that. but if sombody could help me out i would be in much apreciationthanks guys

 

NicksterSVT is very familiar with high performance parts for the 4.0 SOHC. I don't know how many of those parts will transfer between the 4.0 OHV that you have, but you might try talking to him about them.

 

94 4.0 is still ohv lol still thanks for the help bud
