Fuel pump

I Need a fuel pump for my 94 4.0. Should I go electric or factory? Also which brands are good. Airtex and Bosh are two I'm lookin at. Bosh plugs I know are bad for rangers but what about a bosh electric fuel pump kit? Advanced autos site says it's an "exact fit"
Thanks

Your factory pump is an electric pump... but Airtex and Bosch are both good replacements.

Check rockauto

You can get just the pump or the assembly depending on whats bad. There is motorcraft too but its not cheap.

Thanks. Someone told me that the sending unit was for the gauge and beyond that there just tubes. Is that right? If so I think I'll just get the pump. Thanks

Sending unit is USUALLY only the pump itself. The full drop-in assembly is the cage it sits in with the intake "sock" filter and float.
