I had hard time figuring out which gas tank I had on 1993 super a ranger. They end up getting listed as either 19 or20 gallon.
finally found out why. It’s actually 19.6
Yes, extended(super) cab had the 20gal tank, actual capacity 19.6gal
Regular cab had 17gal, actual 16.3gal
Long Bed(LWB) have 20gal, they only came in regular cab with 7ft bed
Used tanks can be hard to find
Wrecking yards tend to drill holes in the bottom to drain fuel before vehicle is put out in "the yard", environmental requirement
They also move vehicles around with fork lifts, lol, so more than a few are ruined this way
