I'm sure that some of you use, or have used, the Goodyear Gatorback belt on the 4.0 SOHC. I went to the parts store today, and was quoted a price of $56. Is that right? What did you pay? Where would be the best place to get one?

I have the gatorback belt on my 4.0L, works great to btw. I ordered it through Jusnes Modified when i bought my underdrive crank pulley.

 

Somewhere in the $40 range. Yea....gotta love it. I put on a brand spanking new gatorback a few months back, and my belt tensionor too a shiat. tor up the brand new 2 day old belt.

 

Gatorbacks squeak on my 99 4.0 OHV. I use Gates, bout $35 for the SOHC engine.

 

Does anybody have a part # for the SOHC, I can't seem to find it.

 

don't remember.....I can look if i can find a flashlite. I believe it's the same belt for a 4.3L Vortec.
