Gibson Dual Exhasut on 4.0L 04 FX4 Installed

Finally got the exhaust finished. Had to get the head tube cut down because it was the extended cab version, and i got a good deal on it! Thought i could cut it down myself but it wasn't the case due to the bends, so I brought it into the shop to get it modified to fit. And since it was there i had them finish the install and weld the whole thing instead of using clamps. Cost a little more but it looks allot cleaner and i wont have to worry about leaks!
It took a bit more more messing around and $$$ to get it up and running than I planned but now that its done I'm happy with it, would have been cheaper if i had waited to try and find a reg cab short box version and did the install myself with clamps,, but whatever, its done, and I love it.

Thanks, It sound great. Ran it for 3 days without the tailpipes (because they would not fit) and was worried that it was going to be too loud but sounded bad *** all the same. But now that the tailpipes are on and the exhaust is not being dumped under the truck it sound awesome. Loud enough to hear and appreciate it especially with a little hard accleration, but not annoyingly loud. In cab noise is good as well, and no annoying drone at a high steady rpm's like I notice on with many aftermarket exhaust!
I will get some video clips up asap. Just got home from work, I will go out later and get some clips to post!

Sounds good. It's actually louder than I thought a gibson would be.

That's why I wanted one of these. They have a really nice rumble and good tone without being one of those loud "look at me" exhausts! It gets a little annoying in the city. And considering i could look in one end of the muffler and see straight out through the two outlets i am impressed with how quiet they manage to keep it for having such little restriction.

They supposedly only sold them in Canada. I don't think they made many of them though. I have heard of a few other ones around, but mine is the only one I have seen, even in pictures!

Your flowmaster does sound a bit louder. My videos are only done on my digital camera so the mic probably isnt the best. It does sound a little louder in person.
