glasspack dumped

glasspack dumped

i have a cherry bomb glasspack, how much louder will it be if i dump it instead of leaving it normal?? try to let me know tonight might do it tommaro if its worth any thing

I recently dumped my glasspack and it sounds like crap IMO. I had dual pipes on it before and it sounded pretty good. Not sure how much of a difference it will make in your case.

Its not really going to matter if its dual or single when the exhaust is dumped, it'll pretty much sound the same. Dumping the pipe after the muffler is alaways going to be louder.

And Brett is right, it will probably sound like crap...

well ill still wait till morning to make my decision but as of right now looks like i gotta drop the money for the 40series

but if i decide to

flowmaster 40 from what i hear is the loudest

but do i do dual dumped only ones i found where 3 in 2.50 out
or single in and out at 2.25 or 2.5 dumped

si/so is going to be more mellow- that was the first setup i had on my '00.. then went with a si/do, it was deeper and louder, also more 'raspy' in the higher RPM's. After that, I went with a Borla ProXS si/do dumped that was perfect, no raspiness in the higher RPMs and sounded nice for a 3.0L, or any ford V6 for that matter.
