Loudest Glasspack

I currently have a flowmaster super 40 muffler but I am thinking about swapping it for a galsspack mainly because I do not like how my flowmaster drones. I like how loud it is, and infact I wish it was louder, but I hate how I can only hear the engines rythem, or the sound of each cylinder, at higher rpms. I am thinking about getting a cherry bomb muffler and dumping it, or maybe one of those smaller round magnaflows because I do not want to spend alot of money and I want a loud glassspack. Another idea is putting an original 40 series flowmaster on it, but I am not sure how they sound. Also I do not want to run a straight pipe. Any suggestions?

A Glass pack is a glasspack is a glasspack.....pick one, it'll be loud and annoying. You aughtta try adding a resonator to your current exhaust.

I want to try one of those Cherry bomb oval mufflers.

I have a glasspack on my truck and I love it. It isn't annoying, but it is loud. Some people don't like it, but I do.

i have a glasspack and i dumped it out be4 the rear axle on passenger side, with a 3'' tip....its not annoying at all...it's got a real nice 'deep' tone to it on low rpm's...i love it..its not annoying, but it adds some attitude..

If ya want loud do what i did. 3inch back to a 10 series race muffler with 3 inch tail and a purdy 3.5 inch stainless tip. Under passess or in the city its awesome.

Ok so I have a flowmaster 40 series SI/DO. I have it dumped right at the back of my cab of my truck. adding a glass pack will make it rumble better and sound clappy at high rpms? how would it sound with my set up. I have the 4.0. as of now my exhaust is pretty loud. Nice start up sound and all.

my set up. its alittle bit shorter now:

cherry bombs at auto zone are $15 if you can get someone to go back and find the cheapest one..
i work there, had free time and managed to find my $15 one, sounds nice, almost like the roush kit did..

Is there any difference really between a $15 one and one that costs a little more?

Normally from what I hear. Its mix match. Some say theres no difference in length. some say Its louder the shorter it is. Some say glasspacks just suck. So I went with the 18", 2.5" outlet glass pack, ansd am going to custom make a y tip for the end with 8" long, 2 1/2" stainless steel dual tips.
