A good rebuild kit

A good rebuild kit
She's an old one with nearly 200,000 miles roundin' up pretty quickly. The throwout bearing is making some noise, so that means that the tranny will be coming down shortly. If I have to drop the tranny, then I am going to pull the engine to do a bottom end and top end rebuild. Anyone know of a good place for a bottom end refit kit?
The List.....what else guys? here's what i am getting so far.
Rear main seal.
Head gaskets.
Timing chain and gasket for cover.
Slave cylinder.
Throwout bearing.
Pilot bearing.
Fuel pump and filter.
Oil pump and filter.
Maybe a new MAF and O2's.
new rings, main bearings, wrist pins(?).
Valve springs, retainers, seals, rods, lifters. Good kit price anyone?
Plus any other gaskets that i didnt feel like mentioning.
I am debating a com cam too.....or else a new stock one (sigh)....so i am thinking an improvement.
So, what else if anything should I be looking into purchasing? Plus any tips on bottom and/or top end rebuild/refit kits would be amazing.
thanks guys,
dave

your going to need the cylinders honed so your new rings will ' seat '. In doing such, you might bore them to tru the surfvaces and have the deck re-blocked.
You MIGHT want to look at a wolverine 422 cam as your going to have teh bloody thing apart already. If your going to tear it down, build it right
www.8secsplash.net <--- contact Jimmy. he has a good line on bottom end parts for the OHV engines. Nickster might have a line as well.
