I got a leak..need help!

I don't know if this has anything to do with it but everytime I turn off my truck and get out it smells like something is super hot or burning (obviuosly not on fire ha) but I was looking under my truck and the inside of my front skid plate had some kind of fluid running down it. Its coming from the tube pictured below coming out of the tranny cooler. Its not water I know that. It was wasn't dripping either when I saw the stuff on the skid. Anybody got any ideas to what it could be maybe?

oo, might just be tranny fluid coming out of the transmission cooler hose, the clamp could have gotten loose or even the hose may be bad. give me a call if your free today and we can look at it

So went over to Israels and found out the clamps had some room for more tightening. And for some reason I thought it might have been radiator fluid at first, and never really even thought it was the tranny fluid so well see if it stops the leaking. Thanks again for the help Israel!

That is definitely the trans cooler. If the hoses are original, go ahead and replace them! Advance Auto didnt have this size hose in bulk, but they sell 6ft of it in a bag for about $7 on the aisle with the trans coolers, more than enough to replace both sections. Think its 3/8" trans cooler hose, any parts store should have it too. Its cheap protection, if a hose breaks or you dont check the trans oil level often enough, you can burn up your trans easily.

The hose actually looks pretty clean/good, so I don't think I need to replace it. Yeah I don't know if this js a common problem or not, but I guess its not that hard to replace
