how can i modify my stock air box from sucking up warter

I know that with after market intakes they have little cloth coverings that go over the filter as if to act like a filter condom.

How much water are you talking about sucking up? you shouldnt be able to suck up a ton of water...unless you are driving through the ocean.

All cars are able to go through puddles and crap that splash up and be fine...they were made that way. That is unless you are driving through oceans, if so get a snorkel cause if you are going that deep...nothing will save you other then a snorkel

 

Drill holes at the bottom of your box, this way if water gets in, it goes right out.
