Oil in my intake ? Plentum upper intake

I was looking for my cam sensor since they have me the wrong one at the store I thought I had to remove this to replace after looking I realized that it just the sensor on the valve cover.. When I took it off there was carbon build up and tons of oil when I turned it upside down . My truck only has 100k exactly .. How did the oil get in there ? My truck doesn't smoke at all.. And they oil is never low .. I'll post some picture later tonight ..

There is oil in the valve cover, to lubricate all the moving parts.

Sorry for that, due to my quick reading LOL
Check for the PCV valve. I've heard of that issue before, guys are plugging the PCV hole on the plenum, running the hose along to the fender and installing a catch-can.

Or you could, if need be, replace the PCV valve along with the breather in the air filter box.
Here's a way to check that danged valve:

Thinking about it, that would do, i just don't like that resolution as much do to the fact of losing some oil into a can...

Theres this thread on FTE, might help you, I did not read it thouroughly though,

And to delete that pesky valve, here is the best write-up I have found;

Ohhh, and BTW the Motorcraft PCV Valve, Part# EV268 is @ 10 bucks on rockauto

Im tempted to just run breathers like some people do on the mustangs and just cap everything else its a lot cleaner of a setup and its not that messy from what people say and it would be way easier
