Just pondering a lil

i am changing my exhaust set up from dumped after the axle to my old set up of straight out the back, idk i just miss havin good old fashion dual pipes out the back.My question is, Which size [length wise} tip should i go with? im thinking a 18 or 22inch long 3.5 tip. Would longer the tip mean a more deeper aggressive sound?

also i was wondering if anyone has ever heard a flowmaster hushpower on a 4.0 ranger? im thinking of getting a hushpower and having it either exit lighting style or straight out the back

well i know shane loves his super 44 on his 4.0 and he says it super deep sounding. i think a hush is just going to sound like a glass pack but be quieter. i dont think there is enough room to run a 18 or 22 inch long tip if you have a hitch or unless you run the exhaust under the hitch

Normally the longer tip does allow more resonance, but you should be fine with a 12" tip.

You should be able to reuse the muff, I've had the same muff on three different cars before.

they'll cut it off, and re weld on to whats left, or they'll leave a bit of the old pipe on there, and weld to that.
