Lifting Intake to get thermostat housing out

Hi
I am new to the forum and new to this vehicle. I have a 2001 Ranger with the 4.0 SOHC.
I am trying to replace the timing chain tensioners. The one in the wheel well went smoothly. The one by the thermostat housing has been troublesome. One of the bolts holding the tstat housing has a broken off head, so I need to be able to lift the housing up off of the broken bolt, rather than moving it sideways out like most people can.
Should I be able to remove the 6 torx screws holding on the intake manifold and lift the front of the intake up the needed few inches to get the housing out? Should the IM gasket be okay to reuse after I lift the IM for clearance?
Thanks

Pull the intake completely, there is an update out for new gaskets for the IM they are $10 or so from ford and prevent intake leaks from developing. Then you can lift the thermostat housing out to remove your broken bolt.

Carful with the bolts they break easy if rusted but easy aside from that. Make sure to plug the intake runners do nothing falls in them once the intake is off.
