I have that fan on my s-10 Zach. I also know someone with it. He probably drives 25-30,000 miles a year and has had it for 2-3 years.

i was looking at something like that again, but makeing my own mounting brackets like i had on my proform... ill get pics up in a minute...

ok so this is kinda what im going to try for with my new fan.... just have to figure out a way to get the threaded rods to hold to the fan snuggly... it has those on both the top and bottom and its solid as a rock9-13-06019.jpg?t=1170377424

You need to put a slot in the hole where the bolt goes through the bracket. You can snug the shroud to the radiator , letting it slide up the slot, then tighten it down. You may have a problem with the bracket hitting the intake pipe. You should be able to trim the metal to make it work.

I found this- taurus e-fan bolted to shroud. I'd use a carriage bolt and have the head sticking out instead of the nut/bolt:

the local yard - "$20. Go get the one you want". me- "cool"

I can run and look for you guys if you don't have access. It would probably run $15 shipping. there are two taurus fans. A double and a single. get the single. Pretty simple.

Check out a 19" fan off 01+ Jeep Grand Cherokee's ,they will mount like the Taurus setup but will fill the stock shroud about 99% and if you paint the mounting bolts black will look OEM.I picked mine up for 20.00.They dont use a big square shroud around the fan so they fit our stuff like they are made for it. I can take some pics of mine if you want.

Also, check out SPAL's programable fan controller, its pretty sweet for the price.I wish I would have found it before I bought my Painless kit!

Let me use up the last few in the camera {yes I know..I need a digital!} as the fan pics are on the roll in the camera still...Trust me though, its the way to go for a OEM look.I showed a few buddies and other than the wiring they didnt even know I changed anything. They thought the wiring and relys were for the lights and not the fan.
