MAF again...

Okay, no one makes the aftermarket MAF for the 4.0 OHV anymore, but would the Mustang 5.0 ones work? The connector looks the same, but I don't know if the internals are alike. If it is different, would it be possible to run the meter with a piggyback fuel controller such as the Apex'i SAFC to fix the difference?

A bigger MAF will let more air into the engine, allowing the engine to inhale more fuel. Generally this means more power.

And vansnxtweek, that is for the SOHC models. I believe they're very different.

The only SOHC in 98-00 was in the exploder. The rangers all had OHV motors.
