Icon10 My engine must be smooth...

I had my truck out of overdrive today on my 10 mile jaunt to work. Even with the cruise set at 80mph, I didn't notice it. LOL

I even had to outrun a Colorado when I got off the higway (was EASY BTW). I went ahead and ran her up to 100 before I let off.

Oh, well. Never hurt it. Just wanted to post something (haven't posted in a while). LOL

Just hate using that gas...

I once drove 15 miles on a 50-55mph road and did'nt notice it either. I'd sure think you'd notice it at those speeds though. Wouldn't it take more throttle to just keep the speed up?

These motors are short stroke so it's pretty easy to spin them and not really notice. Especially if you have a e-fan.

My exhaust is too loud for me not to notice it in 4th vs. 5th gear. Hell at 80 in OD for too long my ears are ringing....

BTW, glad you spanked that Colorado...

I was listening to Mudvayne. Could be the reason. LOL

Yea, he punched it in front of me when we got on the interstate and I let it go, but passed him later. Then when we got off he was right behind me. There were some cars in front so we passed then and then he ran up on my *** so I laid into it and smoked him. I bet he was sure suprised. You know they underestimate Rangers.
