Yes the x-cal (base tunes from SCT) do keep it locked up more. Especially in the "TQ" tune. Having it go unlocked longer/later is the opposite of what you want. You want it to stay locked *more*.

Oh sorry. I thought you meant you'd like a tune where the convertor slips until a higher speed is reached.
When she drives the truck for a week, she'll use 1/2 a tank and only drive 100miles at best. On the other hand I avg about 365-375 in between fillups. And I too accelerate harder than does she.
Tell you this too. My daughter is 19now and I did not teach her to drive the way she does. Good grief! She's litterally GO / STOP There is no in between with her. Scares me to be a passanger... and her mechanic.
