Need intake manifold pics

Hey Guys,

I'm doing some research and need pictures of the 4.0L intake manifold. (not the pre-throttle body part) I have an 06 and am only interested in what ever intake would be used on that year. (not sure how far back it goes)

Thanks,
Rich

Far as I know, everything from 2004+ is the same, other than the standard cosmetic changes....

Do they have a seperate upper and lower? I've searched here and on the web. Did'nt reall see anything ranger specific. Are they exactly the same for a mustang?

I don't know, I know that the mustang has a drive by wire throttle body. If memory serves though, the mustang is the same but I can't be one hundred percent. I know the intake on the explorer/mountaineer is different for sure...

The area in particular interest to me is anything downstream of the upper plenum. Once the air is seperated into six different runners is what I want to understand.

Excellent Zach! Is that a stock 4.0L ranger lower intake? Or is it a mustang one?.. or are they the same?

Nick told me that some of those pictures are from the Explorer Express kit, so it may not all be stock stuff in the pics.
