I am currently working on my son's Ranger and need recommendation on good aftermarket exhaust system and catalytic converter.

Not too familiar with Rangers (work mostly on non-domestic cars).

Walker makes convertors and there at exhaust systems out there. Try Borla or Corsa

 

Dynomax super turbo sounds great can just have a custom exhuast system. Don't really need to change the catalytic converter if you don't need to. I have a video on YouTube that I uploaded. A couple of years back.
