1996 ranger super cab 4.0l V6.
Help me ranger wizards,replaced purge valve solenoid,suspect I need a new Maf sensor and assembly.the oem one came with a nipple(mine is coated in jb weld or gasket maker)for the vacuum line from purge solenoid then sensor.all aftermarket ones I see don't even have a nipple!??Any and all advice will help!!need 2 plate this thing after a success at emission place.

 

There shouldn't be a vacuum hose nipple there,

I'm thinking someone drilled a hole and attached one with jb weld or gasket maker, for some reason.
