P1000 came up as an DTC
does anyone know what this means? the description is monitor testing incomplete.
i dunno if it was there when the test tune from fred was on there but when i returned it to stock it came up on the SCT i have but not my ultragauge. does anyone know what it is? |
One or more of the OBDII Diagnostic Monitors has not yet cleared. This is usually due the fact that driving conditions have not been correct to allow a monitor tor run to completion. Try driving some more and recheck.
Do not reset the PCM memory - every time you do, the monitors will also be reset and will need to run again. The recent switch back to the stock tune is what caused the current P1000. |
Thanks. If I switch tunes, do I have to go from 87 to stock to 91 or can I just go from one tho the other?

Aside from my switching tunes question, I have another. If I changed my tire size on the test tune, changed to stock then put another tune would I have to re input my new tire size?

I have the same code. I cleared the code and drove 70+ miles to reset the computer, the light stayed off for the rest of the day but when I drove home from work it came back. WTF am I doing wrong?
