I just replaced my DPFE sensor about a month ago with a Autozone brand AC delco. I should have bought a Motorcraft but this was convenient. Now a month later Im getting this p1405 code.
I verified the little 1 inch hose to the EGR line is good. No blockage in the EGR pipes. With the key on and engine off I'm reading my voltages on the DPFE connector unplugged I get 5v on each side of the 3 wire connector middle wire is ground and the plugged in and probed Im getting 1v on the signal wire and 5v on the supply wire like I should. What concerns me is the 5v on both sides while the plug is out. I dont want to buy another sensor If not needed but if so it will be a Motorcraft. Does any body know what these voltage values should be?
