Pacesetter Headers

I found these Pacesetter Headers on ebay and I'm thinking about getting them. What do you think?

hmmm...a new option for 4.0L SOHC headers???

If it TRUELY is for the 4.0L SOHC engine, than the ones in the ad are for '03 w/o the EGR system.

Pace Setter's website doesn't even list the part number or the application that the auction if for.

I personally don't like Pace Setter, they make crappy stuff IMO. If it were me and I wanted headers I'd go with the JBA.

Ok...thanks for the replies. For the JBA headers whats better, ceramic or stainless? I live in Maine and the winters suck, but I don't think that they salt anymore, maybe a little? And what about EGR? I have an 02 xlt SOHC? Thanks, sorry that I always ask so much.

Pace Setter headers are pretty much garbage. Spend a bit extra and be happier in the long run.

What do you recommend in a salty environment? Being I live in Utah we love to salt our roads.

Yes...They did up until 2001 when the rangers got the 4.0 SOHC.

I think your wasting your money unless you intend on remapping your ecu after you put these on. Exhaust, Intake (performance mods in general) are a complete waste of money without a tune.

I've got a set of Pacesetter mid-length's on my LT1 Camaro. They're not bad for the price you pay for them but I'm definitely upgrading to a set of coated Hooker Supercomps after the 383 stroker build.

anyone else try them? can't justify spending nearly $500 + on headers for maybe 7hp gain? if jba headers were about $300 would be more interested...

Ive run pacesetters on a couple cars Ive owned and they pretty much suck, like, horribly.. fitment issues, gaskets they come with suck, missing bolts and they dont last long at all, even the coated ones i had were starting to show rust practically everywhere.. Hope this helps..
