Fan Noise

Fan Noise
I went mudding the other day, about a week or so ago, and now my fan is really loud.
You know when you first start it up and it sounds like a wind tunnel for a few minutes? Well, now it sounds like that all the time. Is there a clutch or something like the AC compressor has that allows the fan to slow down after a few minutes, or what is the deal. I can remember it being this loud before when I drove, but only for maybe 2-3 minutes, but now it's like that for the duration of my drive.
Is there something that the mud could have clogged up to prevent the fan from idling, or is it time for an E-Fan?
Thanks in advance,
Storrow

well I don't need to go and spin it by hand. This is definetly my problem. I will have to wait after all the debt settles after the holidays and maybe I will get enough Christmas money to buy one. If not I will have to wait till the end of January. If I didn't spend close to 200bucks this week already on the truck the order would go in tomorrow. But 200 is kinda over budget on vehicle maintinance.
