Proquipped saginaw TC adapter kit (for 4.0 ohv v6)

Ok so this is my first time posting, so forgive me if it's in the wrong place.
I literally cannot find any forum post about this kit anywhere. There's a company called proquipped that I just discovered that makes a power steering conversion kit specifically for the 98-00 ranger with the 4.0 ohv v6. The kit modifies your existing power steering pump bracket to allow you to fit a saginaw TC power steering pump from a 2002-2006 jeep liberty. The purpose is to replace the insanely noisy pump with a better designed quieter pump (saginaw TC).
I got the kit and pump, and I'm gonna install it soon. However, before i do, I was trying to find anyone anywhere online who has installed this specific kit, just to get their feedback about it. I can't find any reviews, forums, or info on it whatsoever. Have any of you installed this kit? How is it? How well does the jeep liberty pump work? What kind of fluid works best after the install (ATF or P/S fluid)?
Thanks!

Hey there,

I just installed an '06 Liberty pump using the Proquipped adapter kit into my '00 4.0 Ranger. I'm pretty new to this type of work, and it went really smoothly. The difference is incredible, feels like I have a brand new truck...

Did you end up doing this yourself? I would highly recommend this solution for anyone whose finally fed up with the super noisy whine of their power steering.

I used Mercon V, as recommended by the Proquipped manual.

One final thing: the instructions were great, but as a total noob, I wasn't sure what to do with the new O-ring, it isn't specified in the manual. The answer is to replace the old, middle O-ring of the ford valve with the new one. I'm not 100% sure it was necessary for me, since my existing O-ring was in great shape, but I did it anyways and it works great. Also, you really don't have to tighten the new value much at all. Be gentle and tighten more if it leaks.
