I was looking around on the internet one day and i found out that the 2002 FX4 had an 8.8 inch 31 spline rear end. is that true? I'm going to do the 4bt swap in the next couple of years hopefully and i wanted to know if i would need to buy an 8.8 axle out of an exploder or if i could just keep the same axle? thanks!!

 

Yes it is true, you have the 31 spline 8.8 with the torsen l/s
