went to get the mail, decided to take a quick vid.
takes a while, because the truck was parked in my neighbors empty driveway. (he lives in a different house, and we have too many cars to park in our driveway)
enjoy! i love the sound of it!
its a flowmaster 40 series.

ya know, not quite sure what muff it for sure. some sort of new 40 series. if i recall, they dont make the originals anymore? idk it was new though. but i went to some back alley shop where they charge half of what they charge at bigger shops for labor.
and yeah, backing it up to the cam, lets you hear it under load a little bit. instead of just idling and revving it in park. lol
and what do you mean edited down?

they still make the original 40's....they just don't really advertise them at all....or even list them on their website, but they still manufacturer them. Probably because the patent is up on them, and there's places makin' fakemasters JUST like the original flowmasters. that's my guess.
Get a part number for me and I can tell ya what muff you got. Check on the inlet side of the case for the etched on numbers. Or on the body of the muff pressed into the side.
