Can someone explain to me the correct way to do the throttle mod. im talking about the one that takes away the extreme play in the gas pedal. i kind of ghetto rigged it and used zip ties to take up the space but its not working right.

All I did was stick a few small zipties in the excess and it helped a bit with the play. Does not need to be done by everyone.

 

The best way to check if you need this mod is to pull off your intake tube. With the motor off have a friend push the pedal to the floor while you check to see if the intake is fully open. Like Ryan said tho, not everyone needs it. I know my pedel has a lot of play too but it opens all the way so I just got a floppy pedal.
