What Size Cone Filter?

I'm using ye guide http://www.therangerstation.com/tech.../airintake.htm. Just need a filter to attach to the 3" inlet. Here is a cone a found:
It is 3" inlet by 5".

Will that surffice for a 4.0L engine? If not, what would work, or work better?
Thanks!

I would only get it if you do not have to put oil on it. It looks like it will fit.

With the filter that close to the maf it can cause turbalance in the air stream creating driveiblity issues. Not to mention all it does is suck hot air from under the hood so you will get less power.

Are there not countless people that have their cones close to the maf? I know my 93 has cold air intake but its a foot lower than the box. Ive been lookin for a way to keep my air intake high without having a snorkel

IMHO, its a waste of money and can cause issues.
