350
350
I have a 94 4banger, but my uncle has a 350 small block sitting in his garage and he said hed give it to me 4 $500. He said we could get it in the truck and reinforce everything. What i want to know if its worth putting into my ranger with gas prices this high, and if parts are easy to find if i were to get it.
Is the '94 your daily driver? What are your plans for the truck? Do you have the finances to do a V8 swap? The engine can be just a small part of what all you'll need to do a swap. If you really want to swap a small block 350 (Chevy I assume) into your Ranger, then go for it. It's not the easiest V8 into a Ranger, but it has been done.
sorry for bringing back a old thread but i havent been on in a long time. a 350 into a ranger is actually really easy. a 302 is only easyier because theres companys that make the swap parts for you. the 350 fits beautifully because of the oil pan shape. and i did my entire 350 swap for under a $1000 and it was my daily for 8 months. if you need any more info hit me up.
why cant he put a chevy motor in it. because youre afraid that it will have more power than your big bad 4.0L. I put a chevy motor in my truck. are you guna tell me i have to take it out because sum guy on the internet said so.
relax dick i was only kidding holy **** grow up a little and dont get up set so easy.
I still want to do a third gen GM small block powered ranger someday. Maybe after I finish my impala it will be the next project. I hate S10’s and Colorado’s and ford has nothing like and LS motor that’s worth a darn. It would be the best of both worlds.
